Leading Complex Collaborations
领导复杂协作
本课程旨在帮助学生掌握新兴的战略实践,培养敏捷领导力,以应对复杂性和多样性带来的挑战。课程涉及认知多样性、敏捷领导技能、AEM-Cube评估、战略执行等,采用高度互动的教学模式,结合案例分析、小组讨论和模拟项目,帮助学生在实践中掌握技能。通过这门课程,学生将学习如何在不确定性中找到方向,在动态环境中快速适应变化,并设计灵活、高效的协作活动,识别和整合分散的资源,将复杂挑战转化为创新机会,从而推动团队和组织实现卓越价值。
This course equips students with emerging strategic practices and agile leadership skills to tackle challenges from complexity and diversity. It covers cognitive diversity, agile leadership, AEM-Cube assessment, and strategic doing. Using a highly interactive approach with case studies, group discussions, and simulations, the course ensures practical skill development. Students will learn to navigate uncertainty, adapt swiftly to dynamic environments, and design flexible, efficient collaborations. They'll also master the art of integrating dispersed resources and turning complex challenges into innovation opportunities, driving their teams and organizations toward exceptional value and success.

教授简介

Elizabeth Nilsen
Elizabeth Nilsen现任北阿拉巴马大学敏捷战略实验室负责人,全面领导实验室的工作。该实验室专注于团队协作与合作的培训,致力于通过科学的方法和实践工具帮助组织优化团队表现。同时,她还在北阿拉巴马大学高级工商管理硕士项目中担任讲师,负责教授复杂协作与战略执行相关的课程。

Elizabeth (Liz) Nilsen leads the Agile Strategy Lab at UNA. The lab focuses on collaboration and teamwork and is committed to helping organizations optimize team performance through scientific methods and practical tools. In addition, she serves as a lecturer at UNA in Executive MBA program, teaching courses related to complex collaboration and strategic doing.
Before joining UNA in 2020, Liz was a senior program director at the Agile Strategy Lab at Purdue University. She also worked with teams through her work at Penn State University and Virginia Tech, gaining extensive academic and practical experience.
Liz has degrees from Stanford University (BA) and Northeastern University (MBA), and is a PhD candidate in Eastern University (organizational leadership). Her research interests include cross-organizational team collaboration, agile leadership development, and strategic execution. By combining theoretical research with practical applications, she provides innovative solutions for organizations, helping teams achieve efficient collaboration and goal achievement in complex environments.
Currently, Liz lives in Baltimore, Maryland, near Washington DC, which allows her to conveniently establish partnerships with government agencies, businesses, and academia.
